About the role
- Proactively source speaking, event, and partnership opportunities for every client, and bring them to the team before they're publicly announced
- Own and maintain UPLVL's forward-looking calendar of conferences, summits, festivals, brand activations, university programs, and exclusive events in industries like health/wellness and entrepreneurship.
- Build and nurture relationships with event producers, speaker curators, conference programming teams, speaker bureaus, and brand partnership and experiential teams
- Secure panels, keynotes, fireside chats, university talks, and paid speaking engagements, both in person and virtual
- Land invitations to exclusive, high-value networking events, from major awards weeks to curated brand dinners
- Develop creative commercial partnerships that go beyond sponsored content, such as brand sponsorships of a client's practice or clinic, curated hotel and spa experiences, product collaborations, and advisory or ambassador roles
- Write proposals, pitch concepts, and negotiate speaking fees and deal terms, including deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and travel
- Protect each client's credibility by flagging claims, disclosure, and reputational risks, and recommending a pass on deals that don't fit
- Lead onboarding conversations to understand each client's goals, boundaries, and definition of success, and deliver a written partnership and speaking strategy Build speaker kits, and guide clients on their signature talk and speaker reel when they're pursuing a speaking career
- Keep the project management pipeline clean and up to date, with every opportunity logged with its source, stage, value, and next step
- Deliver monthly progress reports and present results directly to clients via video call
- Bring ideas to improve our partnership offer, process, and results. We’re looking for someone to not just manage this part of our offer, but also help build it together
- You have 5+ years of experience in partnerships, sponsorships, or talent representation, with deals closed and stages secured that you can name. Conference or event sponsorship, speaker bureau, expert talent representation, or brand-side partnerships experience is ideal
- You have an active network of event producers, speaker curators, and brand partnership decision-makers, especially in health, wellness, longevity, women's health, lifestyle, or entrepreneurship
- You know how to pitch and price credentialed experts, whose value goes far beyond follower count
- You think in partnership concepts first, then find the right brands to fit them. Influencer campaigns are a small part of your toolkit, not the whole thing
- You're a skilled negotiator who understands fee structures, usage rights, exclusivity, multi-part deals, and advisory arrangements
- You understand the compliance and reputation risks experts face, including health claims, endorsement disclosure, and industry payment rules for physicians
- You always know what's coming. You track events, calls for speakers, and industry moves, and you can show us how
- You're proactive and self-directed. You find the opportunities and are ‘in-the-know’ before everybody else
- You give before you ask, which is why organizers and brand partners trust you and call you first
- You're bold and persistent. You make the big ask and follow up gracefully
- You're organized and transparent. Your pipeline is always current, and your follow-up never slips
- You're genuinely passionate about health and wellness, and inspired by the doctors, lawyers, and experts we represent
- Part-time, fully remote, contract position with a path to full-time as the division grows
- Full ownership of your client campaigns inside a newer division at a fast-growing boutique agency
- Work alongside a two-time Emmy-winning founder and help shape our partnerships and speaking division
- A warm, women-led team built on integrity, kindness, positivity and ownership, where you're trusted to do great work and genuinely supported
- A seat at the table in a boutique agency that's growing quickly and has the honor and responsibility of representing incredible, impressive and inspiring experts
- A true culture of feedback with regular check-ins and reviews built around growth, where feedback flows in both directions and always comes from a place of support
- Meditation Mondays and weekly co-working sessions
- Fully remote, for good. No office, no commute, and no "back to the office" someday
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
