About the role

Job Description: Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Warehouse Associate at its Phoenix, AZ facility. This position will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, issuing, packing, shipping, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing materials and products. The Warehouse Associate will also maintain inventory levels, prepare materials for shipment, operate material-handling equipment, and perform general warehouse activities in support of the overall warehouse operation. Magnetics is a leading world supplier of precision soft magnetic components and materials to the electronics industry. We specialize in the research, design, and production of high-quality powder cores, ferrite cores, and tape wound cores for applications such as chokes, inductors, filters, transformers, and power supply components used in alternative energy, telecommunications, aerospace, military, medical, and other electronic systems. The primary responsibilities for this position include receiving and verifying incoming shipments, storing and issuing materials, picking customer orders, counting and verifying inventory, preparing products for shipment, and completing shipping and receiving paperwork. The position will also maintain inventory levels, operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment, maintain warehouse records, and ensure the warehouse and storage areas are kept clean and organized. Qualifications include an associate’s degree or a high school diploma with one to three years of relevant warehouse experience. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. Prior forklift experience and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.
