Mechanical Repair Technician

Job Description: Job Description We're looking for someone who Holds a high school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred) Has 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair, field service, manufacturing, or a relatedtechnical role Demonstrates strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills Has a basic understanding of electronics and the ability to read technical drawings andschematics Is proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Can work independently while managing multiple priorities Has experience using ERP systems or service management software (preferred) Is willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as needed Is available to work overtime when requiredWhat you'll do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test precision equipment to meet quality standards Perform equipment inspections and verify operational performance Document repairs, testing results, and failure analysis reports Communicate technical findings and provide support to customers and internal teams Coordinate parts and materials needed for equipment repairs using ERP systems Complete repairs and verify equipment meets operational specifications Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback for productimprovements Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation Monitor assigned service activities and prioritize daily workload Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high customer service standardsPhysical requirements Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25lbs Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday Must be able to perform repetitive hand and tool work Must be comfortable working with mechanical and electronic equipment Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require Company Description SlingShot Connections provides contract staffing, direct hire placement, executive search recruitment, payroll services, and customized staffing solutions for numerous verticals, including accounting & finance, hospitality, human resources, and many more.
