Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests
  • Identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs
  • Maintain accurate repair and service records
  • Communicate repair recommendations and timelines to customers or service advisors
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards
  • Keep work area clean and organized
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GEDmust have tools
  • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and repair procedures
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASE certification(s)
  • Experience with domestic and foreign vehiclesHVAC, diesel, or electrical system experience
  • Vocational or technical school training
