About the role

To support a growing practice, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Senior Counsel will independently manage complex litigation, develop client relationships, and contribute to the expansion of the firm's presence in Connecticut while working under experienced trial leadership. Key responsibilities Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials Develop compelling case themes and manage all facets of discovery and trial preparation Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients while providing leadership to less experienced attorneys Required qualifications JD from an ABA-approved law school Active Connecticut Bar license; admission in New York is preferred 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense matters Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
