About the role
Supporting strategic planning and policy engagements, the full-time remote Early Childhood Policy Associate will conduct research, analyze data, and assist in stakeholder engagement to improve early childhood education and care systems across the United States.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct policy and program research on early childhood topics, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform client decisions
Prepare materials for stakeholder meetings and draft client deliverables, ensuring clarity and organization in written communications
Coordinate logistics for stakeholder engagements and facilitate discussions, building relationships within the early childhood ecosystem Required qualifications 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, public policy, research, or early childhood organizations
Basic understanding of early childhood systems and a strong interest in further developing this knowledge
Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, including proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Clear and concise writing ability, with experience in creating well-organized documents and presentations
A collaborative approach with a commitment to serving diverse children and families and alignment with the organization's core values
