Position Overview: United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a full-time experienced, motivated Physician Assistant (PA) for our Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) practice. This position will include inpatient and outpatient EP work. Position located at United Health Services Hospitals Wilson Square and Wilson Medical Center where your expertise—and your heart—make a meaningful impact. Previous Cardiology experience required. Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Heart and Vascular Institute Johnson City
Annual Compensation Range: $136,600 - $159,300-----The Electrophysiology Cardiology Physician Assistant will provide electrophysiology care and treatment to electrophysiology cardiac patients in the hospital and office, under the direction of physicians by ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. The PA will record physical findings, and formulate plans and prognoses based on the patient's condition to ensure excellent patient care. They will discuss cases with the physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans. Candidate must be a graduate (or upcoming graduate) and have current certificate of registration from the NCCPA.
