Job DescriptionBanking Risk Consultants — Analyst & Senior Analyst Turn2Partners is partnering with a large management consulting firm to hire Banking Risk Consultants supporting a major financial institution. This engagement offers the opportunity to contribute to risk and control initiatives, collaborate with banking stakeholders, and help strengthen the organization’s control environment. We are seeking professionals at both the Analyst and Senior Analyst levels. Candidates should bring banking experience, a strong understanding of risk and controls, and the ability to contribute quickly in an evolving project environment. Direct Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience is strongly preferred; candidates with relevant banking risk management or consulting experience will also be considered.
About the Opportunity
Location: New York City area | Flexible hybrid
Openings: Multiple positions across both levels
Start: Ideally within two weeks of selection
What You’ll Do: Support RCSA and related risk and control activities, including:
Identifying and documenting business risks across banking processes. Evaluating risk likelihood, potential impact, and the controls designed to mitigate those risks. Assessing control design and effectiveness and identifying gaps or weaknesses. Supporting remediation plans and tracking corrective actions. Preparing risk documentation, reporting, and stakeholder presentations. Collaborating with business, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders. Analyst Focus on hands-on analysis, documentation, and detailed project execution, with some client interaction. You’ll organize risk and control information, support assessments and reporting, and follow through on assigned tasks with limited direction. Senior Analyst Take greater ownership of project activities, coordinate deliverables, and communicate directly with senior client stakeholders. You’ll apply banking risk expertise and project management skills to advance work, track progress, and keep priorities moving with minimal client direction.
What We’re Looking For: Across both levels:
Experience working within a bank or supporting banking clients in a consulting capacity. Relevant experience in banking risk management, risk consulting, or risk and controls. RCSA experience strongly preferred. Experience with a Global Systemically Important Bank (GSIB) preferred; experience with a large national bank is also relevant. Strong written communication and presentation skills. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently. Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot is a plus.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
