About the role

Steel City Brand | Pittsburgh, PAPart-Time / Contract | In-Person Steel City Brand is looking for a Pittsburgh-based Content Creator who knows how to make great social content — not just shoot video. We want someone who can take a product, an idea, or a moment and turn it into content people actually want to watch. You’ll be responsible for: Concepting, shooting, and editing short-form social content Creating Reels, Tik Toks, Stories, photos, and other social-first assets Making our apparel the hero through styling, movement, details, locations, and storytelling Shooting at our stores, warehouse, around Pittsburgh, and wherever the idea takes you Finding content opportunities without waiting for a detailed shot list Working with our social team to bring the monthly content direction to life You’re probably a fit if: You already create content and have a portfolio to prove it You have a strong eye and strong taste You can shoot and edit from start to finish You understand what works on Instagram and Tik Tok You can make great content with a camera or an iPhone You bring ideas to the table instead of waiting to be told exactly what to shoot You’re reliable, organized, and can turn content around quickly Fashion/apparel experience is great, but creativity, taste, and the ability to execute matter more. Our world is vintage Americana, workwear, Pittsburgh grit, and everyday life. We want someone who can take that direction and run with it. To apply: Send us your portfolio, social accounts or examples of work you've created, availability, and rate. Please don't apply without examples of your content.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
