About the role

Material Handler Supports operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) & 6:00 am - 12:00 pm (Friday)

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00

Essential Job Functions:

Ability to use a hand scanner
Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
Transfers finished products to designated areas
Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manager

Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
Operational Equipment:
Hand-held RF Scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required. Physical Demands Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
