This role combines strategic thinking, advanced analytics, consumer and marketplace understanding, and cross-functional leadership to develop recommendations that drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and competitive advantage. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Consumer & Commercial Intelligence, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Unit leadership to uncover opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and translate insights into executable growth strategies. The successful candidate will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while leading high-impact initiatives that shape Hershey's future growth agenda.What will you do?Lead Strategic Growth InitiativesLead complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance enterprise growth priorities that improve commercial effectiveness and organizational performance.Define scope, success metrics, and stakeholder alignment while driving execution from opportunity identification through implementation.Develop workplans, governance structures, and decision frameworks that deliver measurable business results.Identify and Prioritize Growth OpportunitiesLeverage consumer, customer, marketplace, competitive, and financial insights to uncover growth and value creation opportunities.Assess market trends, channel dynamics, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive activity to identify new growth pathways.Develop and maintain a prioritized pipeline aligned to business objectives.Generate Actionable Commercial InsightsSynthesize market, shopper, retail, financial, and commercial performance data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.Translate complex analyses into concise insights that clarify risks, opportunities, tradeoffs, and expected business impact.Shape Strategic Decision MakingServe as a trusted advisor to commercial and business leaders by evaluating strategic alternatives and providing data-driven recommendations.Facilitate cross-functional alignment on key decisions while considering commercial, operational, financial, consumer, and customer implications.Evaluate New Growth Models and Business OpportunitiesAssess business model innovations, strategic investments, partnerships, revenue opportunities, and capability expansions.Conduct market assessments, financial modeling, scenario planning, and feasibility analyses to determine strategic value.Develop business cases that support investment and resource allocation decisions.Lead Cross-Functional ExecutionPartner across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Revenue Growth Management, Consumer Insights, and Strategy to execute growth initiatives.Manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and obstacles to ensure initiatives remain aligned with strategic objectives and deliver intended results.Partner with functional leaders to quantify business impact, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions when outcomes deviate from plan.Influence Through Executive StorytellingDevelop executive-ready presentations and recommendations that clearly communicate insights, opportunities, and business implications.Present findings to senior leadership and facilitate decision-making, resolve competing priorities, influence resource allocation, and build executive alignment around critical growth and capability initiatives.Minimum Education & Requirements7+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Strategy, Growth Strategy, Management Consulting, Revenue Growth Management, Sales Strategy, Consumer Insights, Analytics, Finance, Category Management, or related business functionsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Analytics, or related fieldDemonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementationStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience translating data into business recommendationsExperience developing business cases, strategic plans, financial evaluations, and executive presentationsProven ability to influence stakeholders and lead through collaboration in matrixed environmentsStrong communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skillsPreferred QualificationMBA or advanced degree preferredExperience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Food & Beverage, or related consumer industriesExperience at a top-tier consulting firm, strategy organization, or commercial growth functionKnowledge of consumer, shopper, customer, and marketplace analyticsExperience working with syndicated data sources, business intelligence tools, and financial modelingDemonstrated success identifying and scaling growth opportunities that improve revenue, profit, market share, or strategic capabilityBenefits & PerksAt Hershey, we offer competitive pay and a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, financial security, and life outside of work.
