This individual will serve as a trusted resource for physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals by educating them on hospice services and ensuring a seamless referral experience. Working closely with clinical and operational leadership, the Hospice Sales Executive will execute strategic business development initiatives designed to strengthen partnerships, increase census, and support the organization's continued growth.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Development & Referral GrowthDevelop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare providers.Identify, cultivate, and secure new referral opportunities throughout the East Mesa territory.Execute strategic territory business plans that drive admissions growth and increase market share.Maintain regular face-to-face contact with referral partners and community stakeholders.Consistently generate new business through relationship-based sales efforts.Relationship ManagementServe as a trusted resource regarding hospice philosophy, eligibility requirements, and available services.Build long-term partnerships through exceptional service, responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through.Strengthen existing referral relationships while identifying opportunities for continued growth.Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare community.Community OutreachParticipate in networking events, educational programs, healthcare meetings, and community outreach initiatives.Increase awareness of hospice services within the East Valley healthcare market.Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and exceptional customer service.Sales PerformanceMaintain a consistent pipeline of referral opportunities.Achieve and exceed admissions and territory growth goals.Track referral activity, business development efforts, and sales performance using CRM tools.Provide leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, and territory updates.IDEAL CANDIDATE The successful candidate will possess:Two or more years of successful hospice or home health sales experience.Strong knowledge of the Mesa and East Valley healthcare market.Established relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, discharge planners, and other referral sources.Demonstrated success growing admissions and developing new business.Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent organizational and territory management abilities.Self-motivation with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.Professionalism, integrity, and a genuine passion for serving patients and families.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of two years of hospice, home health, or healthcare sales experience.Proven success in business development, referral development, or healthcare marketing.Demonstrated job stability and consistent sales performance.Strong local market knowledge within Mesa and the East Valley.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Valid driver's license.Reliable personal transportation.Current automobile insurance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHospice or home health sales experience in the Mesa market.Bachelor's degree preferred.Clinical background is beneficial but not required.Established relationships with local referral sources and healthcare providers.COMPENSATION Competitive Base Salary Uncapped Commission Opportunity Mileage and Business Expense ReimbursementBENEFITS Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO)Build Relationships.
