About the role
Maintenance Technician Inova Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background maintaining and repairing metal stamping presses in a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone with extensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on metal stamping presses and related production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. Diagnose equipment failures and make timely repairs to minimize downtime. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments, including voltmeters and other testing equipment. Assist with machine installations, adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Document maintenance activities and completed repairs. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
7+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. 5+ years of experience maintaining metal stamping presses required. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment. Experience with PLCs or logic controllers is highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Able to work independently while contributing as part of a maintenance team.
