What You'll DoImplement Behavior Plans: Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA.Behavioral Support Strategies: Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniques to support clients. Data Collection & Documentation: Accurately track client progress and submit session notes in compliance with UTC policies. Client Engagement: Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers to ensure consistency in intervention across all settings. Challenging Behaviors: Manage and address challenging behaviors according to individualized behavior plans and training. Confidentiality & Professionalism: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Ongoing Training: Participate in required training and continuing education opportunities to improve skills and knowledge. Schedule Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Preferred, but not required)
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (Preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required)
  • Reliable transportation to client locations (Required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
