About the role

Key Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and improve manufacturing work instructions and procedures using an MES-based system. Convert existing instructions into clear, standardized, and efficient work procedures based on Lean manufacturing principles. Develop and optimize assembly, disassembly, soldering, component installation/removal, coating, and material preparation processes. Define operation sequences and procedures for tooling, equipment, and processes that impact product performance. Evaluate manufacturing methods with consideration for cost, quality, operator efficiency, ergonomics, and productivity. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes, build methods, and product quality. Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and product requirements and support relevant audits. Provide feedback to manufacturing and design teams to improve build processes and work instructions.
Required Skills: Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience: Background in manufacturing, production, electronics, or a related technical field. Experience creating detailed work instructions, technical documentation, or procedures. Experience with MES systems and CAD/visual-aid tools. Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles. Technical certificate or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience & Education
Required: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience or an Associate’s Degree/equivalent experience.
Preferred: Experience in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering, with MES experience considered a plus. Experience in technical writing, research, and developing manufacturing work instructions is highly preferred.
