About the role
VERY URGENT REQUIREMENT – HURRY UP GUYSProject Engineer | Bend, ORImmediate Need | W2 Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM PSTInitial Contract: 1 Year We are urgently looking for a Project Engineer to support major capital projects for a global CDMO leader in the biologics, API, and cell & gene therapy space.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The client is launching multiple capital projects at their Bend, Oregon site, including:• Greenfield spray drying facility• Site utilities improvement and upgrades• Solvent storage and delivery project The projects are currently in the detailed design phase and will progress into construction, equipment installation, and CQV.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support detailed design reviews for utilities associated with new production assets• Review, redline, and approve engineering design packages and documentation• Work closely with engineering firms to ensure design compliance• Interface with OEM vendors, contractors, and construction teams• Manage RFI responses and technical reviews• Coordinate FAT/SAT and equipment installation activities• Coordinate site engineering activities with the Cap Ex Project Director and project team• Support CQV activities• Compile turnover packages and coordinate FAT/SAT documentation• Develop and review URS documentsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Engineering degree; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred• Project Engineering experience supporting Cap Ex projects• Industry experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, API, Healthcare/Hospital, Data Center, or CPG environments• Experience supporting detailed design, construction, equipment installation, and CQV phases• Knowledge of clean utilities including clean compressed air, HVAC, purified water, and clean steam• Knowledge of black/dark utilities including boilers, chillers, potable water, wastewater, compressed air, and plant steam• Understanding of OSHA guidelines• Previous experience with Siemens-based BAS technologies• Experience with MS Office, Bluebeam/CAD, and P6MANDATORY REQUIREMENTCandidates must and should provide 2 Manager-level professional references along with their resume for consideration.
