About the role

Research & Writing Associate (LLM) (Remote) Job Title: Research & Writing Associate (LLM) (Remote) Location: Remote within United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand (You must be legally authorised to work in the country where you are based) Compensation: $15 - $18 per hour based on location, experience, responsibilities, and performance. Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part‑time contract role combines rigorous research skills with professional writing to enhance the factual reliability of Large Language Models (LLMs). You will function as a “ground truth” expert, conducting deep‑dip research to verify complex claims, rewriting inaccurate content, and producing high‑quality, well‑sourced summaries to teach the AI how to synthesize information accurately and engagingly. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive online research to verify facts, statistics, and historical data referenced in AI‑generated text. Write original, authoritative summaries and reports on various topics to serve as “gold standard” training data for information synthesis. Evaluate AI responses for “hallucinations” (confident but incorrect statements) and factual drift, providing corrected versions with evidence. Ensure all written content and AI corrections are properly cited using reliable, primary sources to improve the model’s attribution capabilities. Assess the AI’s ability to summarize long‑form text (e.g., articles, papers) without losing critical nuance or misrepresenting the source material. Qualifications: Proven experience in research‑intensive roles (e.g., academic researcher, journalist, market research analyst, or technical writer). Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, concise, and accurate prose. Strong knowledge of citation standards and the ability to distinguish between high‑quality (primary) and low‑quality (secondary/biased) sources. Meticulous attention to detail regarding facts, dates, names, and figures. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects. Compensation and Benefits: Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise). Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours. Equal Opportunity Employer: We’re committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and celebrate diversity in our workforce. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
