Job Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing overnight emergency imaging coverage for a large academic healthcare system in Michigan. This fully remote position offers consistent scheduling, resident teaching responsibilities, and the opportunity to work within a high-volume emergency radiology environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting a broad range of emergency and acute care imaging studies, collaborating with residents during overnight shifts, and delivering timely, high-quality diagnostic interpretations. Providers interested in covering one week per month or multiple weeks per month are encouraged to apply.

Practice Setting: Telehealth / TeleradiologyCoverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Schedule: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM ESTCoverage Need: 2 3 weeks per month preferred
Minimum Availability: At least 7 shifts per month Patient Volume: Approximately emergency department cases per 8-hour shift Responsibilities Provide overnight remote diagnostic radiology coverage Interpret emergency and acute care imaging studies Deliver accurate and timely reports in a high-volume setting Collaborate with overnight clinical teams Teach and support radiology residents during shifts Participate in phone consultations as needed Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting standards Qualifications Required MD or DOBoard Certified in Diagnostic Radiology Active Michigan medical license Clean malpractice history Strong experience in emergency and acute care radiology Ability to work independently in a high-volume overnight environment Resident teaching experience or willingness to teach residents Required at Submission Case logsNPDB report dated within the last 30 days Current CVActive Michigan license Board certification documentation Technology & Systems PACS: SectraEMR: Cerner Dictation Software: PowerScribeWorkstation provided by the facility Why Apply?
