About the role

A well-established Robert Half client is in search of a full-time, direct hire Senior Technical Project Manager to lead their team's technology projects from start to finish, including planning through oversight of delivery, budget management, and vendor management. The Senior Technical Project Manager will also drive solutions across the enterprise by collaborating cross-functionally and with leadership to align with business initiatives and objectives. The ideal candidate is VERY interested in a high-value, high-impact technical environment and is equally motivated by career growth and business impact.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is FULLY ONSITE - 5x a week in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities include: Lead and deliver technology projects from planning through implementation such as migrations, digital transformations, and application development. Manage external vendors and partners to ensure successful project outcomes. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. Coordinate resources and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define responsibilities and project priorities. Drive process improvement and technology optimization initiatives alongside driving the integration and collaboration across business and technology functions. Assess business and technical requirements and recommend effective solutions. Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience within technical project management across large enterprise-wide initiatives such as application development, migrations, and digital transformations Ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and articulate business value of technical initiatives Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with an MBA preferred. PMP is a plus!
