Our client is transforming business travel between Portland and Seattle with their innovative shuttle serviceThey are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to drive passenger growth and develop strategic partnerships in the Pacific Northwest market.
Position Overview
The Sales Development Manager will work closely with the Telemarketing Sales Development Representative to pursue and close new passenger accounts, focusing initially on the Portland market and expanding into the Seattle area. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong personal relationship development, closing abilities, a love for aviation and experience in corporate travel or B2B services.
Primary Responsibilities
Create new potential passenger accounts while converting qualified leads into closed accounts
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
Create customized corporate travel packages when needed
Manage a Golden Ticket Program for trial flights
Achieve monthly revenue targets of $300,000+ in new business
Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis
Mentor and collaborate with the Telemarketing Sales Development Representative
Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting
Present ROI analysis and proposals to prospects
Required Qualifications
5+ years B2B in new market development sales experience with proven track record of meeting quotas
Strong understanding of business travel between Seattle and Portland
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Proven ability to close complex sales cycles
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Aviation or corporate travel industry experience
MBA or relevant advanced degree
Proven success in new market development sales
Compensation Package
Commission: Uncapped with accelerators
OTE (On Target Earnings): $200,000 - $250,000
