About the role

Substitute Food Service Helper/Cafeteria MonitorAs needed based on employee absence or district's needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: performing routine work associated with the preparation and serving of food and the cleaning of kitchen spaces and equipment, monitoring student behavior during meal service, assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the cafeteria, and assisting with the flow of meal service.
Minimum qualifications: able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to communicate with children and adults in a positive and professional manner. No prior experience in food service required. Training would be provided if hired.
Salary range: New York State Minimum Wage.
