Regional General Manager - Vaccines SoutheastLocation: Morristown, NJThe Regional General Manager - Vaccines Southeast reports to the Head of Sales and leads a team of Area Business Managers (ABMs) and Area Business Directors (ABDs). This leader is accountable for the full commercial performance of their region across the entire Sanofi Vaccines portfolio, including buy and bill execution, complex customer engagement, and integrated business planning.The Regional General Manager - Vaccines Southeast operates as a strategic enterprise leader, serving as an accountable member of integrated brand teams, co-creating national commercial strategy, and influencing resource allocation, forecasting, and go-to-market design at a national scale. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives.Main ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & InfluenceServe as an accountable member of integrated brand teams, bringing a regional and national commercial lens to shape brand strategy, portfolio prioritization, and go-to-market execution across the full vaccine portfolioInfluence national strategy through active participation in cross-functional forums spanning Marketing, Market Access, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, and Go-To-Market Capabilities (GTMC)Develop and launch national and regional go-to-market assessments; design and activate pilots to identify and capitalize on market growth opportunities, including conversion pilots and market expansion initiativesBusiness Planning, Forecasting & Resource AllocationDevelops deep national, regional and local business plans to prioritize assets, develop robust forecasting to influence national budget setting, prioritizing performance, and activating external and internal resources to capitalize on business.Translate national strategy into regionally differentiated execution plans, breaking down performance targets by product, customer segment, and contracting modality. Assess and routinely adjust to activate on emerging opportunities and evolving market dynamicsLead formal regional business reviews with senior leadership, delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that influence national commercial decisionsDevelop and oversee financial accountability for the region, including revenue maximization, budget management, and resource optimizationComplex Portfolio & Market ManagementOwn the full buy and bill experience across the region, managing the complete vaccine portfolio with deep expertise in distribution, administration, reimbursement, and contractingLead commercial execution with an account management approach across a highly diverse and complex customer landscape, including Health Systems, Birthing Hospitals, Medical Groups & Multi-Discipline Groups, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Independent Practices.Lead commercial readiness and execution for new product launches, capitalizing on incremental market growth opportunities and expanding the portfolio's competitive footprint Matrix Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationProvide enterprise-level cross-functional leadership across Marketing, Market Access, Sales Training & Development, Sales Operations & Analytics, Commercial Excellence, and other strategic business partnersDefine, activate, and continuously enhance the commercial matrix at both national and regional scope, influencing strategy and execution across multiple commercial teamsSupport teams in navigating and communicating complex contracting and pricing frameworks to diverse customer segmentsWork collaboratively with customer-facing teams to prioritize account needs and identify partnership opportunities across the portfolio and account management ecosystemPartner with Commercial Excellence to evaluate and continuously refine sales processes, identify systemic opportunities for improvement, and foster a culture of performance and innovationPeople Leadership & Organizational DevelopmentMaintain a high-performing regional team through strategic recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developmentBuild and sustain a culture of excellence, accountability, inclusion, and continuous growth, where team members are inspired to perform at their highest potentialCoach and develop Area Business Managers and Area Business Directors to identify and capitalize on key business opportunities, navigate complex customer environments, and grow as commercial leadersAbout YouBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 15+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experienceMinimum of 7+ years of regional, area, or equivalent senior-level people management experience to include 2nd line leadership.Previous experience in a Home Office / Headquarters role or significant enterprise commercial leadership experience (e.g., Market Access, Commercial Strategy, Sales Operations) requiredDemonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding business targets in complex, multi-product commercial environmentsEnterprise mindset with the ability to operate strategically across the full commercial ecosystem, balancing regional execution with national impactProven ability to influence across matrixed, cross-functional organizations at a senior levelExceptional leadership capabilities, including a demonstrated commitment to coaching, people development, and building high-performance culturesStrong negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders both internally and externallyAdvanced analytical and strategic thinking skills;
