Client Overview: Our client is a growing consumer products and personal care company committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining strong quality and regulatory standards. They are seeking a QC Chemist to support laboratory testing, product quality, and compliance initiatives. Salary/Hourly Rate$25/hr - $30/hr DOEPosition Overview The QC Chemist will perform analytical and quality control testing on raw materials and finished products in a regulated laboratory environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
Responsibilities Of The QC Chemist:
  • Perform QC testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Utilize analytical instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, dissolution, and particle size analyzers.
  • Accurately document, review, and report analytical results.
  • Maintain cGMP-compliant laboratory records and documentation.
  • Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Support investigations and ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA, R&D, and Production teams to support product quality and release activities.
  • Required Experience/Skills For The QC Chemist 3-7 years of analytical laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, and dissolution testing.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong documentation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Experience/Skills For The QC Chemist
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer products, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
