Senior Account Executive

About the role
The Fletcher Group is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team and help lead work for B2B clients across payments, fintech, banking, technology and loyalty. This role is a great fit for someone with solid PR agency experience who is ready to own meaningful pieces of client business. You can take a campaign or project from planning through execution, keep the work moving and know when to pull others in. You’re also growing as a client counselor. You understand the business behind the assignment, bring ideas forward and are comfortable making recommendations. TFG has spent more than 20 years helping companies in our industries build credibility and visibility. We know these industries well and have built many long-standing client relationships along the way. TFG is a place where talented people do sophisticated work with smart, experienced colleagues - and enjoy the people they work with. We are supportive, collaborative and low-ego; we take client work seriously without making work the whole point of life. People here have room to contribute ideas, take on meaningful responsibility, learn from one another and build a career.
What You’ll Do:
Own significant campaigns, projects and portions of client programs from planning through execution. Build strong client relationships, lead portions of meetings and bring ideas and recommendations to the table. Find the story. Develop media strategies and timely angles, build relationships with journalists and secure meaningful earned coverage. Write. That could mean a thought leadership article one day and a pitch, press release or social post the next. Contribute to client strategy and help shape narratives and measurement approaches based on what the client is trying to accomplish. Use AI and other tools thoughtfully to make research, analysis and content development smarter and more effective. Help junior teammates grow by providing direction, sharing what you know and helping create strong account teams.
What We’re Looking For:
Around five years of PR agency experience, with meaningful B2B client experience. A strong media relations track record and examples of earned coverage you helped make happen. Excellent writing skills, especially the ability to understand complex B2B topics and make them clear and interesting. Experience juggling multiple client accounts while staying organized and keeping work moving. Good judgment and a strong sense of ownership. You pay attention to the outcome, not just your individual assignment. Someone who communicates well, raises issues early and follows through. Genuine curiosity about clients’ businesses and the industries they operate in. Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, B2B technology or loyalty is a plus. How We Work Our clients value TFG for our expertise and perspective. That means taking the time to understand the business behind the assignment, bringing ideas and recommendations to the table and speaking up when you see an opportunity to make the work stronger. We also give people real ownership. That comes with responsibility for communicating clearly, following through and making sure the work gets where it needs to go. And because we work as one TFG team, people step in for one another and share what they know. This is a full-time, fully remote role that requires consistent availability during the workday for clients and team collaboration. If you’re an experienced B2B PR professional who wants to take on meaningful ownership, keep growing and work with people who genuinely care about doing great work, we’d love to hear from you.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
