About the role

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is seeking toappoint outstanding scholars to tenure-track positions inMicroeconomics. We invite applications from those who hold a PhD (or equivalent)in the relevant field(s) or expect to complete the requirements fora PhD in the relevant field(s) by July 1, 2027 or soon thereafter(we require all tenure track faculty to have a PhD orequivalent). (We will appoint those whose degree requirementshave not been satisfied by this date as instructors, theexpectation being that all PhD requirements will be satisfied soonthereafter, at which time you will be appointed as an assistantprofessor.)Each candidate should submit a curriculum vita, sample ofwritten work, and the names of at least two scholars qualified andwilling to evaluate the candidate's ability, training, andpotential for research and teaching.
