Role Description: The Sales Director is a full-time remote role responsible for leading revenue growth and client acquisition for Carpenter & Mac Neille’s architectural, construction, and design services. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients. The role oversees sales operations, sets performance targets, and collaborates with leadership to align sales initiatives with business goals. The Sales Director will coach and support sales team members, coordinate with project and design teams to ensure smooth handoffs, and represent the firm at virtual and in-person industry events as needed. This position requires a proactive, consultative approach to selling, with a focus on long-term partnerships and exceptional client experience.
Qualifications: Demonstrated strengths in Sales and Business Development, including creating and executing strategies to grow new and existing accounts. Experience in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, CRM utilization, and process optimization. Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on consultative selling, relationship building, and client satisfaction. Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and collaborative leadership. Background in architecture, construction, luxury residential, or related design-focused industries is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to convey complex design and building concepts clearly. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and self-directed work habits. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
