About the role
As a PT Board Operator at iHeartMedia, you play a critical role in ensuring our broadcasts run smoothly and sound great, connecting us with millions of listeners worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre‑recorded shows.
Create and publish engaging, high‑quality social media content that aligns with brand voice and audience interests.
Continuously generate fresh ideas, craft compelling posts, and adapt content for different platforms to drive engagement.
Monitor on‑air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams to ensure smooth transitions and accurate commercial placement.
Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed.
Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
What You’ll Need:
Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with broadcast equipment and automation systems (e.g., NexGen, Sound+, Adobe Audition).
Consistently produce compelling, engaging, and high‑quality content tailored to target sports audiences.
Ability to develop creative ideas and translate them into impactful posts that drive interaction and brand visibility across multiple social media platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus.
