Director Of Ticket Operations The Director of Ticket Operations oversees ticket operations for Football, Gymnastics, and Baseball, with primary responsibility for all Football ticket operations. Provide leadership and direction to assigned professional and support staff; lead Ticket Office customer service initiatives; oversee Football renewals, priority seating, parking, reporting, digital ticketing, and postseason operations; and manage assigned administrative functions. Collaborate with Marketing, RevGen, the Terrapin Club, campus partners, and other external units on ticket pricing and initiatives to maximize revenue and attendance. Supervise the student-athlete complimentary ticket process through Teamworks and lead complimentary ticket distribution for student-athletes, recruits, and coaches. Maintain the Ticket Office website and eVenue information; recommend and develop strategies to drive online ticket sales, focusing on customer experience and mobile applications; serve as a primary Ticket Office contact for campus partners; and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands: The position requires prolonged sitting and computer use, as well as the ability to operate standard office equipment with manual dexterity. The role involves occasional standing or walking to attend meetings or conduct orientations and may require lifting light office materials (up to 20 pounds). Visual acuity and effective verbal and auditory communication are essential for reviewing critical data and interacting with employees in person, by phone, or virtually.
Licenses/Certifications: NAMinimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience in an athletics or higher education setting. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics administrative structure and responsibilities. Knowledge of athletics policies and procedures and federal, state, and other applicable, related laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products. Ability to multitask and prioritize within unit and department environment as well manage large-scale athletics-related projects.
