About the role
To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Databricks Administrator will manage the setup, configuration, administration, and optimization of the Databricks Platform on AWS, focusing on platform governance, user access management, and cost optimization in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Provision, configure, and manage Databricks Workspaces across multiple environments, ensuring optimal resource utilization and governance
Implement role-based access controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through effective monitoring and auditing
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) scripts and CI/CD pipelines for efficient environment provisioning and deployment workflows
Required qualifications:
6+ years of experience in Databricks administration across AWS or multi-cloud environments
Strong expertise in Databricks workspace architecture, Unity Catalog, and cluster configuration
Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, SCIM integration, and access provisioning workflows
Proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing large-scale Databricks deployments
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline management
