Type: Contract-to-hire
Pay: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience
About the Role: We're hiring Full Stack Software Engineers for a growing engineering team. The work leans toward the front end, with a strong focus on UI/UX, and includes Java on the backend. This is a mid-level role for engineers who want room to grow their career and want to work across the stack.
What You'll Do:
  • Build and ship user interfaces in React and TypeScript, with attention to design and usability
  • Develop Java backend services and REST APIs that support the front end
  • Work with developers and systems engineers to deliver new features
  • Work with the product owner to define stories that drive development
  • Analyze bugs and develop and unit test fixes
  • Develop in the Atlassian tool suite with GitLab source control
  • Communicate with product owners, developers, and management to align expectations and deliver on project goals
What You'll Need:
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong front-end experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSSSolid understanding of UI/UX principles, and the ability to explain design decisions
  • Hands-on Java experience building backend services and REST APIsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
