General Production Worker

Job Description: Join our dynamic team in a glass manufacturing factory where you will be responsible for manually moving raw materials, products in process, and finished goods around the facility. You will also load and unload inbound and outbound materials and orders. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs individually, or more with assistance, and involves handling expensive custom glass panes with care. Our custom orders cater to high-rises, corporate complexes, and schools.

Responsibilities: Manually move raw materials, products in process, and finished goods within the facility. Load and unload inbound and outbound materials and orders. Use caution when handling expensive custom glass panes. Clean and measure glass products. Read a tape measure accurately. Maintain good attendance and reliability. Essential Skills Attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50lbs, or more with assistance. Good attendance record. Basic understanding of how to read a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: 1-2 years of warehouse experience is preferred. Experience in manufacturing is a plus. Familiarity with handling glass products is advantageous but not required. Work Environment: Our work environment is a production/manufacturing/shop setting. The specific department assignment will be based on your experience and our needs, ensuring the best fit. Responsibilities generally include loading and unloading machines, cleaning, and measuring glass. The standard shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
