About the role
Description: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Category Analyst in Irving, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all retailer/syndicated data via Catalyst Power BI* Cleansing data from retailer or Nielsen in ShelfIQ* Refreshing Catalyst Data* Updating products, store lists and captaincy in Catalyst Data Manager* Ad hoc and non-KPI account assistance in cleansing planograms, loading Shelf Reporting Suites, Distribution Grids and Add/Delete Reports* Attend retailer meetings and help prepare and present content as needs present itself Monthly Insights/Newsletter (Booze News)* Holiday Insights* Internal/External Content for regular meetings* New Hire Training/Onboarding* Best practices and monthly award submissions* Manage Teams site to organize presentations, content, and best practices* Reset timelines and calendarizing the processes for all accounts* Master file for all accounts with relevant info (captaincy, resets, retailer information)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, emphasis in Business or Marketing related fields; 2+ years of experience in category management is a plus* Project Management experience and strong communication skills with cross functions* Strong familiarity using space planning software (JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo or Spaceman)* A deep sense of accountability, ownership, and passion* Familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures (IRI, Nielsen, demographic data, panel data, etc.) and digital category manager tools (i.e. Numerator)* Demonstrated ability to synthesize & leverage multiple data points/insights (shopper, consumer, category, product) to create retail strategies that unlock growth* Proven ability to think strategically & take insight into actionJob TypeContractCompensation27 - $30
