About the role
To support a growing practice, the part-time contract Georgia Licensed Early Childhood Specialist will create a cohesive curriculum for children ages 1-6 with autism, focusing on developing engaging lesson plans and activities while working primarily remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Build a 12-month themed curriculum calendar with activities that connect across themes
Develop lesson plans, crafts, and play-based learning opportunities tailored to various developmental levels and abilities
Coordinate with staff to identify and distribute materials needed for planned activities and ensure curriculum implementationRequired qualificationsCurrent teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Education, or a closely related field
Experience creating lesson plans and curriculum for preschool or early childhood learners
Understanding of developmentally appropriate, play-based learning and sensory activities
Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Ability to occasionally visit Elevation centers in person
