Job Description:
Job Description The Entry Level Diesel Technician will support the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks and a mixed fleet under the guidance of the shop foreman. This role combines formal apprenticeship, mentorship with senior technicians, and on-the-job training while emphasizing scheduled preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, inspections and compliance, and customer repair orders.
Responsibilities:
Inspect heavy-duty trucks and mixed-fleet vehicles.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
Support engine repairs and parts replacement.
Complete brake service and oil changes.
Assist with breakdown repairs.
Perform inspections and support compliance requirements.
Document repairs and complete customer repair orders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Entry-level experience in diesel vehicle maintenance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Strong attention to detail.
Commitment to safety compliance.
