Assembler 1 Move Forwards with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Operators in Santa Maria, CA.The Assembly Operator is responsible for assisting and supporting coworkers and performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce business class seating furniture. The Assembly Operator must be able to work within the time constraints of the master production schedule and meet requirements dictated by the customer. As an Assembly Operator, you will: Assemble and build products according to engineering drawings and hardware, wiring, rivets, fasteners, and other components. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing documents. Inspect work, report defects, and maintain quality standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work area. Support production needs across multiple other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity! The ideal candidate will have: High School Diploma or GED required Must be able to speak, write in English 1 - 3+ years of related work experience Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Pay Rate:
$17.50 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
