About the role

We are seeking a reliable, results-driven Night Shift Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee floor operations, manage a team of production technicians, and ensure nightly safety and production goals are met. In this role, you will bridge the gap between upper management and frontline operations, maintaining high quality standards and troubleshooting issues as they arise during the shift. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership skills, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to a safe working environment.
OVERTIME PAY AVAILABLEKey Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Plan, assign, and direct nightly work assignments. Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of team members to ensure a highly skilled and cross-trained workforce. [1]Operations Management: Monitor production lines to ensure output meets scheduled targets, quality specifications, and efficiency benchmarks. Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines to maintain a zero-incident workplace. Issue Resolution: Actively troubleshoot mechanical bottlenecks or workflow disruptions. Address immediate employee complaints or operational conflicts fairly and effectively. [1]Reporting: Complete end-of-shift production reports, log equipment downtime, and facilitate seamless shift-handoff communication with the incoming morning crew.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership, supervisory, or step-up coordinator role. Shift Availability: Proven ability to work overnight hours and maintain high energy, alertness, and focus during the night shift.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with production machinery, safety lock-out/tag-out procedures, and basic computer skills (ERP or Excel inventory tracking preferred).
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
