About the role
Beacon Mobility Corp. The Finance Director position will play a key role in the finance department helping move forward financial initiatives for our operation.
Reviewing financial statements
ensuring accuracy on reports
maintaining budgets
oversight of financial requirements
Managing other accounting professionals
helping guide accounting decisions
Directing financial planning and strategy
Analyzing and reporting on financial performance
Overseeing audit and tax functions
Developing and implementing accounting policies
Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets
Training accounting staff
Reviewing departmental budgets
Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk
Analyzing complex financial data
Managing internal controls
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Five (5) years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Advanced degree is a bonus.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience of transportation operations preferred.
