Scheduled Weekly Hours: 10 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Primary Function/General Purpose of Position The Student Worker provides administrative, operational, or programmatic support to a designated department within the institution. This position is funded through the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program and is available only to currently enrolled students who have been awarded FWS as part of their financial aid package. The role offers meaningful work experience, supports student success, and provides opportunities to develop professional skills in a flexible academic environment.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide general office support such as answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and files
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, or events
  • Support department projects, programs, or initiatives
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute materials (reports, correspondence, supplies)
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student or institutional information
  • Assist with basic research, reporting, or tracking activities as needed
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and document preparation
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with student worker responsibilities
