About the role
- Diagnose, repair, and maintaincommercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
- Performrefrigerant diagnostics, leak detection, recovery, and chargingin accordance with EPA regulations.
- Read and interpretblueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals .Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system conditions and recommended repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures, local codes, and company policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Qualifications3–5+ years of commercial HVAC experience .Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working with rooftop units (RTUs), package units, and commercial refrigeration systems.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required (Universal Required).TDLR (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Commercial HVAC certification or technical school training.
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS).Strong customer service and communication skills.
