Logistics Coordinator Pay $25-28 Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location:
Redwood City 94065 There is a chance to go beyond the end of the year (or longer) and possibly temp to perm (but no guarantees at this time) Provide logistical support to clinical and commercial operations to ensure timely placement of new products in the field and, when required, efficient return and processing of field returns. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure raw materials and finished goods are managed following the QMS processes and procedures. Key responsibilities and essential duties include: Shipping and receiving activities for domestic and international shipments/receipts. Provide tracking information to internal customers Delivering and notifying recipients when their shipments arrive Coordinate returned products from the field and timely product replacement as required. Inventory control activities, including proper documentation and inventory tracking Notify purchasing when inventory levels drop below established safety stock levels Support cycle count and physical inventory activities
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 to 5 years related experience (medical device a plus)
Skills and Experience:
- 3 to 5 years related experience (medical device a plus)
- Ability to lift equipment and material up to 25 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications such as MS Outlook, Excel and Word
