About the role
- Support acquisition activities from planning and solicitation development through evaluation, award, administration, modification, and closeout
- Prepare and process procurement actions, including simplified acquisitions, contracts, purchase orders, interagency agreements, IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, delivery orders, and call orders
- Support Firm-Fixed-Price, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Labor Hour, Time-and-Materials, and cost-type contracts
- Apply applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements to assigned acquisition actions
- Develop and recommend acquisition strategies and procurement approaches
- Review and edit acquisition and contract documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance
- Analyze pre-award and post-award acquisition data, identify gaps or issues, and provide findings and recommendations
- Prepare and enter contract actions into PRISM or other Government acquisition systems
- Review and validate acquisition data used for federal reporting
- Support contract administration activities, including performance and invoice tracking, modifications, and closeout
- Maintain accurate acquisition records, trackers, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with Contracting Officers, CORs, program offices, contractors, and other acquisition stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or higher and/or minimum eight (8) years of relevant contracting experience
- Senior-level federal acquisition knowledge and hands-on experience equivalent to at least legacy FAC-C Level III training and experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting the full federal acquisition lifecycle
- Strong working knowledge of the FAR and federal procurement processes
- Experience with Firm-Fixed-Price, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Labor Hour, and Time-and-Materials contracts
- Ability to independently analyze complex acquisition issues and provide well-supported recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online research tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination
