JOB DUTIES:
The highest priority of each Flight Follower is the safety of the flight which includes following all FAA/FAR rules and regulationsRecord Crewmembers flight time in compliance with the company's crew scheduling procedures to ensure that each flight has a legal crew available to complete all flight operations for all flight segmentsCollect, discuss and review weather and aeronautical information to help assist in aircraft/pilot dispatchFlight Followers will track all flights released and update company personnel as necessaryAll flight times OUT/OFF and ON/IN times will be recorded on every flightCoordinate with the Operations and Maintenance to ensure the aircraft status will permit the intended operation to be conducted safely and in accordance with applicable Minimum Equipment List/Configuration Deviation List items (MEL/CDL) limitations/restrictions at the scheduled departure timeEnsure all flights are released in compliance with the FAA rules and regulations and FAR's. Advise the appropriate personnel of potential or actual delays or problemsCoordinate and ensure that all, ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and international handling, customs, landing/over-flight permits are in order before releasing a flightProvide operational data and reports to personnel as necessaryBook and adjust company travel arrangements and coordinate food orders for pilots and customersCollect, organize, review, and correct trip paperwork to ensure records are complete and accurateOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:FAA Dispatch LicenseRemote Options Available: Ability to attend required training onsite in Oakdale, CA for a minimum of 90 days - must have minimum of 2 years' experience in a Licensed Dispatch RoleLess than 2 years' experience or entry level application will require 6-12 months onsite in Oakdale, CA before going remoteCollege Degree preferredProficient computer skillsDetail orientedSelf-StarterMust be able to multi-taskExcellent verbal and written communicationMust be willing to have a flexible schedule to include working nights and weekendsBENEFITS:Competitive compensation - commensurate with industry, experience, and base locationHealth/Dental/Vision Benefits packages with options for employee +/- dependents 401K with company matchPTO accrual for vacation and sick timeFlexible schedulingSierra West Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
