About the role
- Required to read, understand, and follow work orders, formulation sheets and engineering drawing.
- Required to gather the proper materials, accurately weigh, and mix to the correct consistency
- Able to prepare the mold, clean, fill, level, assemble and press the product to print requirements
- Ability to inspect the product using scales, calipers, and micrometers both before and after firing
- Required to properly load, diagram each level, and run the proper firing cycle of the furnace
- Visually inspect tooling for obvious flaws, imperfections, or damage both pre and post pressing
- Ability to clean, mask, grit blast and prepare cores as required for epoxy mounting
- Ability to properly and safely epoxy mount product to cores
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and properly using and maintaining PPE
- Report time and material in manufacturing systems
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED/HSE or equivalent
- Safely run and use required equipment
- Read and understand work instructions, paperwork, and drawings Personal Attributes:
