About the role

Shipping / Shop Help Our customer in Rochelle, Illinois is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as Shipping / Shop Help on 1st shift. This position plays an important role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely movement of shipments while supporting shop operations. Responsibilities of the Shipping / Shop Help: Coordinate transportation to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels. Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. Make special shipping arrangements as needed. Ensure the quality of all services provided meets company and customer standards. Assist in developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized. Verify inventory counts and assist with physical inventory as required. Track and resolve shipping errors. Provide general shop assistance as needed. Shipping / Shop Help Requirements and Qualifications: Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal. Previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of millwork preferred. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers, software, and technology for inventory and communication purposes. Pay for Shipping / Shop Help: $15.00 – $20.00/hour (based on experience).
Type: 1st Shift, Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, OT as needed.
