Job Summary: Manufacturing Technician 2 - POROS Manufacturing (Contract) Chelmsford, MA | Night Shift | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule About the Role Join a leader in biotechnology manufacturing and play a vital role in producing high-quality POROS chromatography resin. As a Manufacturing Technician II, you'll work hands-on in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are top priorities. Responsibilities: Operate and monitor chemical batch manufacturing equipment such as reactors, pressure filters, pumps, and packaging machinery following SOPs and safety protocols Train new team members on standard operating and unit operation procedures Execute equipment changeovers, elutriation, polymerization, bead coating, and product discharge processes Maintain accurate batch and equipment records to meet ISO13485 standards and support Good Documentation Practices Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities within the work center, including cleaning and organization Uphold all company Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards, wearing required PPE Required Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year experience in chemical, biotech, or related manufacturing/operations/lab setting Proficient in basic calculations, data interpretation, and troubleshooting Strong oral and written communication abilities Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, push 55-gallon drums, and wear full PPE Comfortable working rotating night shifts (6:00 pm - 6:30 am, every other weekend)
