Job Description
Overview: o Conduct inspections – perform visual and manual inspections of incoming, in-process, and cables and components to check for defects against company and industry standards (e.g. IPC Standards). o Utilize measurement tools – Use various tools like calipers, height gauges, and micrometers to ensure cables meet specified dimensions and tolerances. o Review documentation – Examine blueprints, specifications, and customer drawings to verify that finished products comply with all requirements. o Document findings – Record inspection results, defects, and yield data in logs or electronic information systems. o Manage non-conforming material – Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming products to prevent them from being shipped and assist in the disposition process. o Collaborate on improvements – work with production and quality teams to identify root causes of defects, implement corrective actions, and suggest improvements to the manufacturing process. o Prepare reports – Complete standard reports, such as First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and verify that all necessary certifications and documentation are accurate and complete. \nCompany DescriptionRPC Staffing was founded in 2002 as a firm that combines a hands-on approach with industry expertise and national reach.
