About the role
Histology Technician (HT/ASCP) Full Time – Day Shift We are currently seeking a HT/ASCP certified Histology Technician to work full-time in an acute care facility.
Responsibilities:
Process tissue specimens using standard histological techniques.
Perform microtomy and staining for microscopic examination.
Conduct quality control on laboratory equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
Collaborate with pathologists and team members.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification.
State licensure as a Histotechnician.
Strong technical skills in tissue processing and staining.
Effective communication and attention to detail.
