Role Description:
The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodway, TX. This position is responsible for managing assigned client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention. Day-to-day tasks include responding to client inquiries, coordinating benefit and service delivery, tracking performance metrics, and resolving issues in collaboration with internal teams. The Account Manager will prepare and deliver client reports, support renewals, and help identify opportunities to improve service and expand Anthem’s offerings. This role requires regular communication with clients and stakeholders, accurate documentation of account activities, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience in account management, client service, or relationship management, preferably within healthcare or insurance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly to clients and internal teams.
Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities.
Comfort with data analysis and reporting, including using spreadsheets, CRM tools, and other business software.
Problem-solving skills with a focus on issue resolution, process improvement, and client satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively on-site in a team environment in Woodway, TX, while also operating independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of health insurance, benefits administration, or managed care concepts is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
