Senior Manager Enterprise Batch ServicesYour opportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Enterprise Batch Services team. This role is critical in ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient batch processing across mainframe and distributed environments. You will be responsible for managing product support, batch scheduling, and Level 3 support for batch execution, while collaborating closely with application support teams and Production Control. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a passion for process improvement, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.What you haveKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage batch scheduling operations across multiple applications.Provide Level 2 support for batch execution and incident resolution.Collaborate with application support teams and Production Control to ensure seamless operations.Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions.Mentor and cross-train team members to build technical depth and resilience.Communicate effectively with technical teams, end-users, and senior management.Evaluate and resolve business-impacting issues with urgency and precision.Required Qualifications8-10 years of experience in enterprise batch processing and support.Proven leadership experience in a technical environment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Technical SkillsControl-M (must-have)AI skillsetMainframe Tools: JES / SDSF, ISPF, JCL, CA- ESP, CA11Distributed Systems: UNIX / LINUX / Windows (SA-level knowledge)File Transfers: NDM, FTP, SFTP, PGP / FTP, NFSScripting & Programming: Unix Shell Scripting, PERLDatabase & Data Tools: SQL, Oracle, MS- SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Hadoop (Big Data)Infrastructure Knowledge: Backup & Recovery, High Availability/Disaster Recovery, Clustering (Unix & Windows)Security & Networking: SSL, LDAP, Network CommunicationVirtualization: Virtual MachinesAbility to read and debug logsPreferred AttributesStrong presentation and technical documentation skills.Experience in mentoring and developing team capabilities.Ability to assess customer impact and escalate appropriately.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to lead a critical function in a dynamic enterprise environment.
