About the role
- Diagnose and troubleshoot crematory equipment operational issues
- Perform repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems
- Inspect and test burners, flame safeguard controls, gas trains, blowers, and safety devices
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, temperature controls, and instrumentation systems
- Repair and replace valves, actuators, motors, sensors, switches, and control components
- Perform startup, commissioning, and operational verification of new equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and service visits
- Verify proper calibration of combustion and control systems
- Complete detailed service reports and customer documentation
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and management
- Travel nationwide for service assignments and emergency repairs
- Industrial combustion systems
- Burner management and flame safeguard controlsPLC and HMI operation and troubleshooting
- Electrical diagnostics and control circuits
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Gas train operation and safety systems
- Mechanical drive systems
- Crematory operations and process optimization
- Equipment commissioning and startup procedures
- Technical documentation and field reporting
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Mechanical repair experienceHVAC, combustion, controls, automation, or service technician background
- Military technical experience encouraged
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and electrical test instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
